Yuri Burger is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Master SharePoint who designs and creates sustainable knowledge sharing solutions for companies in the Netherlands and around the world. He works as a principal consultant for VX Company, an IT Services company based in the Netherlands (Baarn).
He currently has about 10+ years of experience in the Document Management and Business Process Management area. After having worked with enterprise products like Hummingbird/OpenText and Documentum, he absolutely fell in love with the Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server product back in 2001. This product was not finished by far, but seemed promising to him at the time. Now several editions later, the product matured and he still enjoys the generic approach Microsoft has with it.
He can be found writing about Microsoft SharePoint on his personal blog: http://yuriburger.net. He also regularly contributes to the Dutch Information Worker User Group eMagazine, found at http://www.diwug.nl. Contact Yuri on twitter: https://twitter.com/yuriburger.
